How Jet Aeroparts, LLC handles what you send us through this website.
Effective October 17, 2026. Updated October 20, 2026. This notice covers jetaeroparts.com. It does not cover the websites of suppliers or other companies we link to.
What we collect
When you send a quote request or open an account, we collect what you enter: your name, company, business email and phone, part numbers and quantities, aircraft details, ship-to addresses and any notes or documents. When you email us, we keep the email and its attachments. Our website host, Squarespace, records standard visit data (pages viewed, browser type, approximate location) and uses cookies to run the site and measure traffic.
Our emails
When we email you about our services, the email contains a small image and links that tell us whether it was opened and which links were clicked. If you follow a link from one of our emails to this website, a small script on the site notes the pages you view during that visit and later ones from the same browser, and links them to the email address we sent to. We use this only to understand what interested you and to follow up; it is not shared or used for advertising. You can turn off image loading in your email program, and every email we send has an unsubscribe link.
How we use it
Only to answer your request, quote and fulfil orders, keep the records our customers and regulators expect (certification, traceability and order records), screen export parties as US law requires, and improve the site. We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.
Who we share it with
Suppliers and repair stations receive the part details needed to quote and ship, not your contact details unless they are needed for delivery. We use service providers to run our business: website hosting (Squarespace), email (Google Workspace), our order system and its hosting, payment processing, shipment tracking, e-signature (DocuSign) and accounting (QuickBooks). Each receives only what it needs. We share information when the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order, certification and traceability records are kept for at least ten years because aviation customers and regulators rely on them. Other information is kept as long as needed for the purpose it was collected for.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete what we are not required to keep. Email ops@jetaeroparts.com. You can stop our emails at any time with the unsubscribe link in any email or by replying "remove". You can block or delete cookies and site data in your browser settings, which also ends the visit tracking described above.
